Card for a new arrival.

Hello, it's Carol here today and I am going to share my make for this month's Celebrations Challenge.

I decided to make a Baby Card for a change as it is something that is always handy to have in your card box.

1 Ink up the Chevron Background stamp with two different type of Brilliance Pearlescent inks, cover with clear embossing powder, then heat with a heat gun.

2 Cut out the Baby Journaling card twice on your electronic cutting machine. Carefully cut out the word and use Black Soot DI and place on to the chevrons.

3 Ink up the stars from the Wish Upon A Star Doodle Doll stamps, and stamp them onto the journaling card, cover with clear embossing powder and heat.

4 Using two different shades of DI, distress  the journaling card, leaving the word white. Attach over the other word with 3D foam to add some dimension.

5 Pop the chevron layer onto some co-ordination paper, then stick to a card blank.

Ingredients

VersaMark, Brilliance and Distress Inks.
Clear Embossing Powder.

Hope you like this card, and it shows you that journaling cards can be used for more than scrapbooking or Project Life.

There is still time to enter our Challenge, why not have a go with a chance to win some great prizes.

Thanks for popping by today, Carol x
