Challenge 75 - Christmas!

The theme this month is of course, Christmas! maybe a cliche, but for me, this really is the most wonderful time of the year and I can't wait to browse all of your beautiful Christmas projects over a nice cup of hot chocolate! :o)

Here is the inspiration from my lovely Design Team...

I made a gift box using paper and embellishments from Santa's Workshop and a template from Craft Artist.

I used the Santa's Workshop kit to make my card and layered some of the pieces up to add dimension.

I made this really quick little Christmas card using Sarah's Santa's Workshop collection. I just printed out the Polaroid photos of Santa & friends really small (2in x 2in) then attached them to the card with foam pads & added a little Merry Christmas banner.

I used the Christmas Craft Basics star paper to creat the perfect background for a little Christmas scene! The paper especially the colour was just perfect for this!

I have used papers from both the Tinseltown and Santas Workshop kit to create a traditional coloured Christmas card.

I used papers from Tinsletown and Documented December Daily to create an inside out card, the from and back are blank with all the details inside. There is more information on my blog.
Clare

All elements used are from Sarah's Santas workshop kit...love it!

These are a set of gift card holders using various Sarah Hurley Christmas Designs.
I mixed a little bit of everything just to give a layered design!

We look forward to seeing your projects - you have until midnight on 30th December to enter - just click below to submit your link!

Challenge 74 - Remember, remember the 5th of November...

Hello! Natalie here with this month's challenge

Fireworks and Bright Colours!

We're really looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects full of fireworks and bursting with colour! Just to inspire you, the design team has come up with some fantastic creations. Have a look below and then get creating!!

Nicole
I created a notebook using the fantastic Curio Kit. I printed onto the outside and inside of the cover pages. I then filled the notebook with lots of different coloured pages (and different sizes too). It is a firework of colour!! I created the cover by digitally layering some elements from the kit over some of the papers. I also added some digital firework bursts onto the papers. This makes for a very fun and colourful notebook!

You can see more photos on my blog.

I've mixed up several of Sarah's kits to create this layout, I've used papers from Tinseltown, Fairyland & Witching Hour, along with a Say Cheese Journaling card. I have a fear of fireworks & I was lying on the ground in a safe place to take photos of the fireworks exploding in the sky, one of the fireworks blew off course & exploded about 3ft above me, I may have kept my eyes shut but I managed to keep my finger on the shutter button on the camera.

I used Witching Hour to create my firework inspired journal page.

I used papers from Craft Basics to create this Fireworks inspired card.

I used the  Oz kit and the hot air balloon from the Woodland Whimsies kit to create this scene from The Wizard of Oz.  I use a wee bit of artistic license and set it at night time so there would be lovely sparkly fireworks. You can read how I created it on my blog.

I used the Fairyland kit for my focal papers to make a colourful cheerful bookmark with magnets each side to keep your page safe!

I've made an ATC celebrating my inner witch who comes to celebrate Halloween with me every year!I used Doodle Dolls Collage Kit with the cat and note tag from Witching Hour and a firework background drawn with my UniPosca pens.

I've made a fun tag using papers, sentiments and ghost image for Sarah's Witching Hour Collection. Bats are die cuts and the ribbon is from my stash.

You have until 25th November to post your entries - we can't wait to see what you create!

Lookbook Volume 2 Submission Reminder!

I must just remind you about submissions for the Lookbook magazine Volume 2 - you can see all the details here, don't miss out!!
