Hi ladies. It's Natalie here with a challenge for ya!! It's my first challenge as part of the DT and i really hope it stretches your imagination and makes you craft out of your comfort zone!!
I recycle "stuff" for scrapbooking...who doesn't....I have a special box for all the bits and bobs that i can reuse or that I find and i think "oooooh that tag from my jeans would look amazing with those Sarah Hurley Papers".... ;)
Anyways, what i'd like you to do....is recycle something.....use it for crafting. It can be anything you can think of - recycle an old tin, jar or box. Use up your scraps! Use cardboard or bubblewrap...or some old string....anything that you can think of use it up....old sequins, clothes (??!!) go on have a try :)
Here is what i made using lots of Sarah's Ink Sprays, paint, cardboard, bubblewrap, ripped up paper, and a recycled bulldog clip and safety pin. Please excuse the photo, my canon has died for the time being and i have used my iphone.
Have a look see what the rest of the fabulous DT created:

Here I've used an old jar top with the rainbow backing paper from the Oz collection and the owl from the Woodland Whimsies stamp set. I put some magnetic tape on the back and turned it into a fridge magnet.
LOVE IT!!Claireliz
I used an old chocolate box, covered it in pages from an old Alice in Wonderland book & used the images from Sarah's Wonderland CD
Simply gorgeous Claire!!

I used an old papermill cardboard box for tags and matting and layering. String is from a package I received ages ago, lace and button from charity shop, mesh is actual plasterers tape, had work done in my house a few weeks back.Papers, image ( mad hatter was cut from a scene image) and ticket sentiment from the WONDERLAND cd. Flowers and pin are from my stash and everything was then distressed using my Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.
It's gorgeous - i love how it turned out Clare!!! :)

Everything you see is from bits and bobs that didn't make it on my cards on my blog, I keep everything!! I recycled the string and kraft is from an old papermill box. Owl and cloud stamps are Sarah's, love em!!.
Emma
Here, I've used an old kitchen towel roll, cut down to size, then glued onto a base, die cut from old cardboard packaging using the Tim Holtz Baroque Alterations Die. I then painted the whole thing with black acrylic paint. The paper rosettes and small flowers, are made using some of Sarah's papers from the Wonderland CD and then adhered onto the sticks that you find in cafes, to stir your coffee with! I finally die cut the wings from mirri card and the letters, numbers and bats, from scraps of glossy black card.
Amazing Emma!!!
Have fun creating and don't forget to link up by the 18th September!
Thank you girls, lovely dt work. Debbiexx

Awesome! A way to let other people know about your recycling activities is to snap a picture of yourself while at work. Here's the application for doing just that. http://youtu.be/qxQn-00Rr7s
