Challenge 67 New Beginnings

Hello this is Lisa and I'm here to share my first challenge. I have a lot of friends getting married, moving house and having babies so it would have been silly of me to pick a theme that wasn't NEW BEGINNINGS. I would love to see you create something to celebrate a New Beginning. I've already given a couple of suggestions above, but the possibilties are endless...New Job, Graduation, Retirement, etc, etc.

Now onto the fantastic inspiration from the DT:

Elaine
I used Sarah Hurley papers and Postcard as my journalling tag

This is the first page in a new creative journal, I used Sarah's Spray Inks, Black for the splats in the background & candyfloss pink to colour the corrugated card hearts, I also used papers from the Sarah's Craft Basics Collection for the collaged circles & the Blue Polka Dot Paper from the Britannia CD with the Woodland Whimsies Stamp Set for the clouds as well as words cut from the Steampunk CD word & alpha sheet.

I used papers from Sarah's Britannia CD and combined them with Tim Holtz Alterations dies to make this Bon Voyage card.
I used an assortment of Sarah Hurley papers to decorate my journal page.
I've used pastel papers from Sarah's Craft Basics Collection to create a New Baby card. I've tried to keep the colours neutral as our friends baby isn't due until September and they don't know what they're having.

I mad this wee Baby's Buggy using the gorjuss Purple Gingham Basic Collection

I do hope you join us for my first challenge theme and we look forward to seeing your projects - you have until midnight on 3rd June to enter - just click below to submit your link!

Thanks

Challenge 66 - *Sponsored by Sarah Hurley* - Tags & Tickets

This week the sponsor is little old me! and up for grabs for the winner this week is £10 worth of digi downloads from my shop as well as a digi stamp each for those in 2nd and 3rd place - you can see my whole range of products here if you aren't familiar with them :o)

The theme this week is Tags & Tickets - I love Tags & Tickets and include them in most of my CD's and kits, I can't get enough! Now I want to see what you do with yours, whether its a single tag, a greeting on a card or journaling on a scrapbook page or in your Smash Book or Journal - come and share! :o)

Here is the inspiration from my lovely Design Team...

Elaine
I used Sarah Hurley Halloween papers, Steampunk ticket and a Journalling ticket.

I used papers and the Love topper from the Britannia cd but all the papers can now be found on the Craft/Scrap Basics Collection too.
I used the delish Steampunk Papers and digi wing along with my own stash to make this wee tag with my rose die and distress ink
I used Sarah's fab new Craft Basics range and the tags from the Britannia CD to create this layout, I also cut a ticket strip from the Craft Basic pastel polka dot paper using a Tim Holtz Alterations die.

I've used papers from the English Country Garden Collection on Sarah's Britannia CD to make a little tag shaped card.

Clare

I made a gift tag and used some scraps from the Britannia CD
This tag was made with bits from the Oz CD
We look forward to seeing your projects - you have until midnight on 20th May to enter - just click below to submit your link!
