Challenge 44 - Circle Frenzy!

This week is Taraleigh's turn to pick the theme and she chose a Circle Frenzy! so whether it's die cuts, punches, dots, or a round shaped card then come and join the fun!

Here is the lovely DT inspiration for you...

Jaine

I created the background for this ATC using Sarah Hurley's Ink Spray in Lime - available here.

Claire

I used 2 pieces of patterned pink polka dot paper from the Oz CD and used ribbons to hide where the papers joined.

Tammy

I used lots of punched out circles, the papers used are from the Woodland Whimsies and Wonderland CD's

Clare

I used Sarah's yummy summer spotty papers, sentiment and topper from the current Making Cards magazine. White card embossed with CB swiss dots embossing folder. Cut out windmills from the papers in the mag and attached a cocktail stick and gems. More rounds gems and pearls added in each corner of card and topper.

Natalie

I Used Sarah's Lipstick ink spray, Black Paint, Wonderland Papers, Wonderland Vintage Ticket,Studio Calico Letters and Yellow Thread

Ria

A simple card with lots of circles!!! The papers used are form Woodland Whimsies and the new Oz CD!

Sarah

I used the papers and embellishments from my 'Wonderland' CD to make this quick and easy card with the Mad Hatter

You have until 10th July to enter the challenge - we look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Challenge 43 - Handmade Flower Power!

Hi all! Ria Mojica here for you today.  So very sorry for this delayed post...been feeling a bit under the weather the past few days. But today I have a fun challenge for you...handmade flowers! Create any project that has one or more flowers that you have made yourself. There are plenty of tutorials available on the web, if you still haven't tried this.

I have to say that everybody outdid themselves for this challenge! Great job everyone!

Ria
I made a basic rose using the Red Fleur de Lis paper and cut out leaves using my Slice machine from the light green dots paper.

Jaine
Made a tag using the Alice image from the Wonderland cd and added some hand made flowers made out of music score page.

Claireliz
Used Sarah's spray inks to create the background & used scalloped circle punches to create the flower.

Clare
Flowers punched with added pearl detail. These were then stuck onto a teapot shaped card covered in teal spot paper from the Wonderland cd. Sentiment computer generated.

Tammy
Image and DP downloaded from the new Oz collection. I added stickles to Glenda's wings for a little sparkle. The flowers were handmade from ribbon and accented with pearls. The sentiment was from my stash.

Melly
Used strips of scrunched up lengths of Wonderland papers, printed onto very thin tissue like paper to make a wee bouquet.

Natalie
I decided to finish my journal!  I used Orange ink-a-balls and a primer to cover the canvas front. I then sprayed Sarah's Teal Mist and let it drip dry.  I covered the whole thing in silkscreen medium and then white acrylic paint.  I let it dry, then trowled on some more paint and oil pastels to draw the sun.  Let it dry, added more paint and stamps (you can almost see Sarah's faces stamps....)...more paint and more medium. AFter it dried i added the lollipop flowers by using some wonderland papers cut into circles and scrunched and layered. Stamped on them, glued them and added a button. The stems are made from hemp rope inked green with some yellow hessian.

I hope you have enough inspiration to join us for this fun little challenge this week!!! You have until 26th June to join in and the winner will be announced on 1st July!

Challenge 42 - *Sponsored by GallimaufryUK* Summer

This week we are lucky enough to be sponsored by GallimaufryUK  digi kits. GallimaufryUK is the work of Penni Taylor, a fantastic scrapbook digi designer. She creates beautiful kits for your digi and hybrid scrapping with papers, elements, alphabets, word art and so much more. Every kit is truly an inspiration. You can visit her blog here or her store here.

The Design Team were given the fantastic 'Bloomin Lovely'kit to work with which ties in perfectly with a Summer theme  and this is what we came up with!

Camilla:
Camilla made this beautiful digi scrapbook layout

Jaine
I used the papers and embellishments in a hybrid way to create this easel card. All I used extra was a bit of string, my fine liner and trusty typewriter.

Melly made a gorgeous bright and summery digi scrapbook page

Clare
All elements are printed and cut out from the digi kit. I added gems and oodles of stickles for some sparkle

Claireliz
I printed all the elements out to create a hybrid layout, the frames are mounted on 3d foam pads

Tammy
Tammy printed out the elements to make this lovely summery card

I had loads of fun playing with the digi elements from this kit! It is BLOOMIN' LOVELY indeed! I wanted to do a simple layout from this photo of my daughter and her spectacular grin. I love the springy, flowery feel of the kit and it's just so perfect for this page!

I made this digi layout of my sisters, I love layering all the elements to make a scene backdrop for my picture. YOu can see some more hybrid projects made with this kit on my blog here.

Natalie
I printed the frame onto canvas. Printed the paper and some of the cute birdy elements onto card. Cut them and distressed them. Great kit for both kind of scrappers :)

Jo
Jo made this fantastic card front which she printed to use on her card, stunning!

If you would like to use this kit in your challenge entry you can get hold of it here.

The winner will receive a $10 voucher for the GallimaufryUK store and the two runners up will each receive a $5 store voucher, AND, get this! every single entrant will receive a $1 voucher!
